Mövenpick, the Swiss international hotel chain is all set to strengthen its presence in Saudi Arabia with the addition of a new five-star property in Al Khohar. The new hotel has 143 rooms and suites and will open in the next few days. In Saudi Arabia, Mövenpick already has five existing hotels and four are currently under construction.
The Mövenpick Hotel Al Khobar is situated in the business centre in Al Khobar City. Therefore, it will target business travellers. It also specialises in conferences and wedding functions. Al Khobar is located on the Persian Gulf in the east of Saudi Arabia
The hotel consists of 101 rooms and 42 suites situated on thirteen floors and a 1,600 sqm multi-purpose banqueting hall is designed for conferences, weddings and events of all kind. The property also has the Maharaja, an Indian speciality restaurant, a fitness centre, steam bath, hammam bath, sauna, indoor pool and a tennis court.

Depa wins hotel contract in Mumbai
Dubai: Interior contracting company Depa said it has won a Dh40 million contract for a fit-out package at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai. The Dubai-based company has a subsidiary in India to support the Mumbai project. The group has worked on a number of Four Seasons properties, including the hotels in Sharm Al Shaikh, Doha and Cairo.
