Max to take acquisition route for Mumbai foray
Max Healthcare, which recently completed a major restructuring, is on the prowl. The heathcare company, the leading hospital chain in the National Capital Region (NCR) with seven hospitals, is close to acquiring a hospital chain in Mumbai. The deal when signed will mark Maxs foray into the Mumbai healthcare scene.
Highly placed sources confirmed that Max Healthcare is in talks with a couple of hospitals chains in Mumbai and western India for acquisitions. A deal will be finalised in the next 3-4 months, the sources added. The company is also actively pursuing management contracts with three hospitals in the country. The company will run those hospitals.

Air Sahara suspends Mumbai-Chennai flights till Dec. 5
Private carrier Air Sahara, has cancelled all its flights between Mumbai and Chennai till December 5 due to 'operational reasons'. "The airline has stopped flight operations since yesterday. It also stopped issuing tickets in Mumbai-Chennai route", Airport sources here told PTI today, adding that there were some operational problems in the route. No senior officials of the airline was available for a comment. Passengers who booked tickets have been asked to board either Indian Airlines or Jet Airways aircraft, for which the airline had already made arrangements, the sources said. Indian to operate Airbus on Delhi-Bhopal-Mumbai route
Bhopal : The state-owned Indian will operate Airbus instead of Boeing on Mumbai-Indore-Bhopal-Delhi route from June 1. Airbus service will be available on this route on all days from June one as compared to Boeing service for 4 days a week, Indians Bhopal station manager Firoze Khan said, adding that Boeing passenger capacity was only 119 as compared to 144 in Airbus.
