The Pune and Mumbai Police are on the lookout for Kevin and Vicky D’Souza, the two brothers suspected of murdering Infosys employee Vikram Poddar (31).
‘‘The Pune Police questioned the mother and brother of the two suspects in Mumbai. We are cooperating with them to nab the culprits,’’ said police sub-inspector of MIDC police station K N Waghmode.
According to the Pune Police, a gang of three to four youths from Andheri is suspected of having abducted, drugged, killed and then robbed Poddar on March 14.
‘‘A Hinjewadi police team and two teams of the Crime Branch sleuths have been pressed into service. Besides, the help of the Mumbai Crime Branch is also being taken,’’ Inspector in charge of the Hinjewadi police station Rajendra Bhamre said.

Mumbai riots: 15 acquitted for lack of evidence
MUMBAI: A sessions court has acquitted 15 persons of the charges of rioting and murder in a case registered here during the post-Babri Masjid demolition riots of 1993, citing lack of evidence.
