At Carter road in Bandra (West), lessees are quoting Rs 90,000 for a 3BHK, which earlier commanded a rent of Rs 1.5 lakh a month
At Powai, rents are in the range of Rs 30,000 to Rs 1.10 lakh a month, down from the Rs 40,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh band quoted earlier.

Industrial rentals in Mumbai nearly doubled in 2007: report ne
Mumbai: Industrial property rentals in Mumbai almost doubled last year, recording the fastest pace of growth in the world, a report published by property firm Cushman and Wakefield said. Annual industrial rents in Indias financial capital surged to $127 (nearly 80 euros) a square metre aided by a steady flow of investments into the property sector, Cushman said in its industrial space across the world report. Virgin launches Mumbai-London daily flights
Virgin Atlantic Airways today launched daily flights on the Mumbai-London-Mumbai route. The British airline will now fly seven flights a week providing a daily connectivity on the route. The daily flight will depart every day from Mumbai at 1455 hrs arriving in London Heathrow at 1935 hrs. Air Sahara suspends Mumbai-Chennai flights till Dec. 5
Private carrier Air Sahara, has cancelled all its flights between Mumbai and Chennai till December 5 due to 'operational reasons'. "The airline has stopped flight operations since yesterday. It also stopped issuing tickets in Mumbai-Chennai route", Airport sources here told PTI today, adding that there were some operational problems in the route. No senior officials of the airline was available for a comment. Passengers who booked tickets have been asked to board either Indian Airlines or Jet Airways aircraft, for which the airline had already made arrangements, the sources said. Air Sahara operates four daily direct flights in Mumbai-Chennai
