All bars here should be converted into yoga centres in order to have a better society and healthy living, said Baba Ramdev Saturday while laying the foundation stone of a yoga centre being built in the place of a nightclub that closed down four years ago.Ramdev, in his short speech, said: I am very happy that a place which was being used for destructing peoples lives will now be used for making lives of various people happier and healthier.
He said: People who used to come here for lust and addiction will now be coming for meditation. And I say that all bars in Mumbai which cause no good to any person should be converted to these types of yoga centres.
Ramdev lauded the efforts of Deputy Chief Minister R.R. Patil for banning dance bars here.

Mumbai Police raids, seals six dance bars
The Mumbai Police conducted raids on six dance bars in Saki Naka and Pawai area of the city late on Wednesday night. After the raids, the police confirmed the arrest of 190 people, including 79 dance bar girls. Mumbai bars: Govt to appeal against HC order
Maharashtra Government would appeal against the Bombay High Court order revoking ban on dance bars in the state by May 12, Deputy Chief Minister RR Patil told the legislative council in Mumbai on Wednesday. The Supreme Court holiday starts from May 13. So, the state government would have to approach the apex court by May 12, Patil said. The state government has sought opinion of the Attorney General on the issue, he said, replying to a point of propriety raised by Vinod Tawde (BJP).
