Adlabs Cinemas, the movie exhibition arm of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG), has clinched a deal with a consortium to construct a 15-screen multiplex here, a top company official said on Thursday.
The consortium led by Phoenix Mills and Adlabs will construct the multiplex at the Phoenix Market City on a 4.05 million square feet plot at Kurla in Mumbai. The multiplex will have a floor area of 140,000 square feet and a 4,000-seat capacity.
Apart from regular screens which will show the latest releases, the Adlabs megaplex will also screen popular sports events and live concerts. Additionally, it will have two luxury screens.
